Coniston Guest House - bed and breakfast at Brantwood by Coniston

Coniston Guest House is nestled in one of the most verdant nooks of the Lake District, only a stone's throw from Coniston Lake. The location is a haven of peace and natural beauty in the Lake District National Park - recently named the UK's best holiday destination.

Our guest house will appeal in particular to couples and families with older children who will appreciate the profound and yet fragile tranquility of Coniston. Those looking for a guest house where attention to detail is a priority will also be delighted with the Coniston Guest House. Unfortunately we cannot accept pets.

The guest house has six bedrooms: three double rooms (one with a kingsize bed), two twin-bedded rooms and one single room. Each of the double and twin rooms has its own private bathroom. Visitors know that the rooms will be spotless and that towels, toiletries and everything they need to prepare their own refreshements will be waiting for them. The rooms also have wireless internet access, high-definition satellite television, DVD players and alarm clocks.

Breakfasts are always a delight at the Coniston Guest House. Breakfasts are cooked or prepared to order and we will go out of our way to satisfy any request (providing the order is placed the morning before). We will fill flasks for free and for a small charge we will gladly prepare filling packed lunches for hikers, cyclists and for those doing watersports on the lake.
